Come and join us on the second Wednesday of the month during term-time for crafting, storytelling, singing and dancing. Sessions run for 45 minutes followed by refreshments. Paediatric First Aid advice and play. Free, booking essential.

Free Half-Term Family Activities
Got a pulse? (3-10 year olds)
Wednesday 14 February, 11am – 3.30pm, free drop-in event
Make your own stethoscope and create a beating origami heart, as well as learning how St John Ambulance volunteers take a pulse today.. Aimed at 3-10 year olds but siblings and babies very welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the whole event.

Seacole Session: Seacole Sessions Family Activity: Healing Hearts (3-10 year olds)
Tuesday 13 February, 1.30pm-3pm
Discover which plants have traditionally helped heal broken hearts and use them to create your own heart collage. Includes storytelling by Olivia Armstrong with each session booked. Aimed at 3-10 year olds but siblings and babies very welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the whole event.
Seacole Sessions are sensory friendly events for families. They are designed to support autistic and neurodiverse families and are suitable for people who would benefit from visiting the museum when it is less crowded and noisy. Spaces for these activities are limited and free tickets must be booked in advance. All those who sign up will be sent a visual story via email.
