Community Cooking:

Local people are welcome to volunteer cooking for our Friday Night Takeaway (we can provide food hygiene training).

We are also developing community cooking opportunities so message us contact@smhr.org.uk if you are interested in finding out more or pop into the Church.

Cook Together happens 3-5pm every Friday.
We are open Monday to Friday 10-3pm (and often until 4pm) for anyone to drop in to ask for help.

We have free WiFi in our building

We have access to computers

We have the opportunity to train in some basic video editing (for some of our kids work)

Access to the Hive Foodbank is by voucher through a network of referrers. A request for a referral can be made by email to hivefoodbank@gmail.com. We can also refer anyone who comes to the church Monday to Friday 12-3pm. 

We can help with phone calls and computer access, we have links to other services supporting debt and employment advice.

Friday Night Takeaway is a self-referral hot meal picked up on Fridays. We use a text system for folk to 'order' their meal. The meals are free. Email collections@smhr.org.uk to be added to our list, or pop into St Mary and put your name down.
