Leighton College
The Leighton College, based in North London, provides a two year further education course for 16-25 year olds with mild to moderate learning difficulties leading to Ascentis Awards in functional development and employability. The course runs from September to July and includes literacy, numeracy, IT, cooking, creative therapy, work experience, health and relationship education and gym sessions. These all lead to a more independent living work experience. Taster sessions are available by arrangement. The Leighton College is one of three projects run by Elfrida Rathbone Camden (ERC).
