St Andrew's Montessori

St Andrew’s Montessori School has gone from strength to strength, since it opened in 1996, and is now a thriving, busy little gem in the heart of Islington. It has always been the main aim for Samantha Rawson (School Principal) to create an environment where children are truly viewed as individuals and with respect, families welcomed into a warm and nurturing environment where we all have a great deal of fun together and learn a huge amount.

As the school has grown, so have the staff who are incredibly committed to creating and maintaining this very special school. We are so lucky to have such experienced and committed teachers, resulting in a very low staff turnover.

Our method of education is based on utilising a child’s natural desire to learn using their five senses. The Montessori Method enhances self-motivation and promotes the unique ability of children to develop their own interests and talents. The school aims to stimulate a fascination with learning. You can read more about our approach on our website.
