If you are feeling lonely or isolated Islington Bereavement Service can offer support and a listening ear for up to ten weeks. They will match you with a trained and experienced volunteer who will support you. You must live in Islington or be registered with an Islington GP. Usual Service:
We offer support for adults living in Islington who have experienced the death of a family member, relative or another important person in their life. Working within a Compassionate Communities model our trained volunteers can offer practical, social and emotional bereavement support.

This is a volunteer-based, peer support and befriending service for people who do not feel that formal counselling is not appropriate for them.
