Islington Young People's Drug and Alcohol Service (IYPDAS)
Islington Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service (IYPDAS) is a service provided by Youth Counselling, Substance Misuse and Alcohol Service (YCSMAS) who provides opportunities for young people to access a free, confidential, holistic approach to social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
The IYPDAS team works in trauma informed, creative and solution focused way and offers young people one-to-one targeted support and group work sessions to help with issues where they are being impacted by drug and alcohol use. Our specialist substance misuse workers provide honest information, guidance and/or treatment around drug awareness, stopping, risk reduction, challenges, coping with peer pressure and more.
IYPDAS also provides peer professional support, training and consultation to partner agencies and community organisations that engage with young people within Islington.
