Talk for Health

Coronavirus Update:

Talk for Health deliver therapeutic talking therapy courses, enabling and empowering Islington residents who have mental health concerns with the skills to engage in peer-led therapeutic talking therapy groups, and create their own sustainable peer support networks.

Talk for Health now run taster sessions, programmes and ongoing groups both online (accessible by computer or mobile phone) and in person at venues across Islington and Camden. Usual Service: 

Talk for Health is a programme developed by Psychotherapists. It teaches a method for therapeutic talking and enables people to set up and/or participate in ongoing groups. The groups support both your own well-being and others’. The Programme is facilitated in English.

Talk for Health is as effective as therapy in lifting depression and raising wellbeing. It’s part of your Psychological 5-a-day: to look after our wellbeing, just like exercise or meditation.

It’s free for all Islington and Camden residents, and many others – ask us to find out more.

FREE training in communication skills and ongoing peer-led groups for improved wellbeing. Talk for Health teaches the foundations for productive and meaningful conversations. With the support of T4H you can also learn to facilitate your own group and create a support network in your own community.
