BuddyHub

BuddyHub is a modern befriending organisation that created a novel way to help older people who are experiencing or at risk of loneliness and/ or isolation. We connect a lonely or isolated Senior with up to three like-minded Buddies in their local community forming what we call a ‘Friendship Wheel’. Seniors and Buddies are carefully matched based on their interests and experiences. The three Buddies share visits with their Senior on their own terms, making this a fun and flexible way to get to know each other that can fit into anyone’s life. 

We are currently operating in four London areas: Islington, Haringey, Hackney and City of London.
