Who are the EH Parent Champions?

Early Help Parent Champions are trained parent volunteers residing in Islington who give a few hours of their time every week to support parents in the local community by speaking to them about Family Services on offer in Islington and facilitating coffee mornings and other peer support activities to help families build on their local support networks.

There are currently a group of 12 active Early Help Parent Champions.  All are carefully selected parents of children who have had experience of accessing a range universal and targeted Early Help services.

The Early Help Parent Champions all have current DBS Certificates and are trained by Coram Family and Childcare Trust, as part of the National Parent Champions Network.
