Friendship Phone Network
Aims to support isolated vulnerable people over 55 in Islington, particularly those with mobility problems, mild to moderate depression and anxiety or those living with chronic pain.
The core service matches isolated older people with volunteers of all ages who phone one a week or more to chat, making sure that the older person is safe and well, and may also pass on information about services and benefits that could make a difference in their lives. The service also offere Visits and outings, teleconferencing, advocacy and a computer network. Please contact the group for more details.
