Mencap is the leading voice of learning disability. Everything we do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers.

Mencap Islington Me Time supports adults (18+) with a learning disability living in the Borough of Islington to access social, leisure and community-based activities.
What we do
our programme provides an opportunity for informal learning allowing people with a learning disability to improve and develop their skills. Each person can set their own goals, and enjoy and achieve the things that matter to them.
Our activities include:

· Cinema
· Cooking
· Bingo
· Art
· Museum visits
· Football

If you are interested in the service you can make a self-referral. You can do this yourself or with the support of a family member, friend or a professional - like a Teacher or Social Worker.
We also take referrals from other services in the Borough for example: The Community Access Project and Centre 404
