Early Intervention Service (Mental Health)
The principal aim of EIS is to provide a service to identify, assess, treat and support young people experiencing their first psychotic episode.
The Early Intervention Service accepts referrals for people aged between 18 and 34 years (currently under review), who are resident in the boroughs of Camden or Islington and experiencing a first psychotic episode. Clients who live in Camden who are currently aged under 18 are also accepted. We also accept referrals for clients moving into the C&I catchment area from other Early Intervention Services, who are within the first 2 years of their treatment.

Our service receives referral from C&I services, other statutory and non-statutory services (e.g. housing providers, probation, drug services etc). We encourage informal enquiries about potential referrals, with the aim of reducing an individual's duration of un-treated psychosis.
