Islington Library Service
There are 10 libraries in Islington.
Borrow: books for entertainment or learning, as well as audio books on CDs and large print books. Free use of computers and the Internet, free Wi-Fi and access to great online resources such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, online newspapers, magazines and comics.
There is study space in most branch libraries, some with desks where you can plug in a laptop. All libraries have Under 5s and Baby Bounce sessions. Some have a toy library. Books on Prescription scheme for mild mental heath conditions.
The prime purpose of Islington Library and Heritage Services is to enable people to realise their full potential by providing them with full and equal access - appropriate to their various needs - to information, ideas, knowledge and creative works.

Free basic one to one IT skills sessions are run in most branch libraries, but we also provide accredited training at our two learning centres: First Steps and Islington Computer Skills.
