Whittington Park Community Centre

Community Warm Space Offer:  Drop-in, refreshments, cooked food and wrap-around support. Tuesday-Thursday 12pm-4pm.

We run various activities for all age groups. For the over 60s we run a daily lunch club as well as nail painting, gentle exercise classes, Tango lessons, a sewing club, bingo and art class. We also run Yoga classes, capoeira, ball room dancing and pilates for all age groups. Please see website for details. Transport available for those with physical disabilities. Volunteers welcome.

Whittington Park Community Association is a thriving community centre between Holloway Road, Tufnell Park and Archway.

We welcome all ages and aim ‘To provide a welcoming and well-run centre for individuals and groups in Islington to sustain and develop a vibrant community’.

Our services include:

• an early years hub with a community nursery

• a childminders' drop-in and stay and play sessions

• an after-school club and holiday playscheme

• a youth club for 13-19 year olds

• a social club for people aged 55+ .  Lunch Cub-Hot meal delivery Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 55+ members within the centres catchment area.  Request £ 2.00 donation if affordable

• a men's social club

Our activities include:

• an art drop-in session

• ballet and drama for children

• chairbased exercise

• gardening in our 4H community garden

• hatha and dynamic flow yoga

• tai chi for adults and children

• yoga

• Zumba
