Independence At Home
We may be able to help you if you, or a member of your family, have a long term illness or disability and need financial help towards the cost of equipment, home adaptations or other essential items to improve your independence, comfort, safety and quality of life at home.
You must be in financial need and unable to afford the equipment or building work yourself or to obtain the funding that you require from statutory services.
Our grants are often used together with funds raised from other charities and sometimes from statutory services to complete the purchase. Please check our website for information on eligibility and to see the list of goods and servicethat our grants can help to provide.
You have to be referred to us by a professional worker from health, social care or a charity that is in contact with you or your family member. When you have a referrer please ask them to go to the 'how to apply' page of our website.
Office is open Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm.
