Barnardo's Social Emotional Mental Health Service
Barnardo’s SEMH is a new Service in the Borough of Islington, it is delivered by a qualified Team of talking and creative Therapists based in the community in Islington. It provides short term individual counselling and therapy to the children and young people of Islington experiencing difficulties with their social, emotional and mental health, including:
- Bullying, peer pressure
- Depression, anxiety, low confidence
- Mild to moderate self-harm
- Anger management
- Exam pressure
- Eating issue
- Bereavement

- Who is this service for?
- Children and young people aged from 8 up to their 18th birthday or 25th birthday for young people with special educational needs, who are registered with an Islington GP, or live within Islington, or who attend a school in Islington.
