Hestia Housing and Support- Self Directed Support Service

Hestia's Self Directed Support (SDS) service is available to adults that are eligible for a personal budget or direct payment. We also support Carers who are eligble for an personal budget/direct payment. We can provide the following services to help people through the self directed support journey:

• information and advice about self directed support and personal budgets/direct payments (free!)
• help to create budget individual support plans that meet peoples' needs and life goals (£17 per hour)
• help to find, liaise and secure services and goods (support brokerage) identified in a person's individual budget support plan (£17 per hour)
• financial support to help people manage their personal budget/direct payments. We offer managed accounts for people who do not want the hassle of managing their personal budget funds- £18 per month. We also offer a payroll service for people who wish to employ their own Personal Assistants (PAs)- from £9 per month.
• Personal Support Assistant (PSA) service- Hestia's PSAs can provide personalised support for people who need extra help to live an independent and fulfilling live (personal care is not the primary role of this service). Customers choose the PSA they would like to support them. Most support costs £15 per hour (no minimum hours).
