Cape Adventure Playground

This May half term our opening times are Mon 30th May, Tues 31st May, Wed 1st June Thur 2nd June from 10.30am - 1.30pm and 2.30pm -5.30pm. We offer a service during our hour closure for working parents called "stay and Eat" which supports children to stay the full day (10.30am - 5.30pm). Parents/carers must pre register their children with Awesome to attend one of the playgrounds they manage (Register Now). Please contact your local playground for more information.
On Friday 3rd June please join us for our Platinum Jubilee Community Fun Day taking place form 12pm-4pm. All ages are welcome and there is no need to book a place, (subject to availability on the day.) Please note we will not be running our normal service so “stay & eat” will not be available. Please contact solomea@awesomecic.co.uk for further information.
At Cape Adventure Playground adventurers can get creative, explore nature and play outdoors, making full use of the labyrinth of rope bridges and tree houses. Messy activities, create a theme song on a piano or design your next costume in our play building.
Play is free for six to thirteen-year-olds and supervised by our Awesome playworkers – all you have to do is register and have fun. Oh, and Cape Adventure Playground isn’t just for superheroes – we have plenty of budding scientists, explorers, writers, artists, footballers and paleontologists too!

The Cape Building is a large spacious modernised pre-1970’s Railway Electricity Station with high ceilings and large windows, illuminated with natural light from the surrounding tranquillity of the green woodland nature reserve of Parkland Walk. The building is multi-story with two main hall spaces for hire, one on the ground level and one on the first floor both with their own entrances. The ground floor hall is a flexible child and family-friendly space that can be divided into two with a cafe-style kitchen that serves the section overlooking the woodland. The first-floor hall has large windows on two sides of the room with views of the tops of the trees across the nature reserve. Adjoining the first-floor main hall is a dance studio with large mirrors, ballet bar and each floor has its own kitchen and toilets. We also have a rooftop terrace from which you can see many of London’s iconic landmarks. Cape is the perfect venue for training courses, children’s birthday parties and conferences, but this flexible space can be used for a whole range of activities and events. Contact us for more information or to request a booking.
