Highbury Roundhouse is a community centre based in Highbury. We deliver lunch clubs for the elderly, projects for young people, including a young club and holiday playschemes. We also have activities for under 5s and provide a Stay and Play, and Childminders' project.
If you are interested in attending a drama, keep fit, Karate club, we have a range of educational and recreational activities on offer, which are provided by many different user groups providing services at the Highbury Roundhouse.
Bright Futures are present every Monday, 1pm to 4pm during their food bank.
Senior Activities:
Lunch clubs, hairdressing, social dancing, bngos, and Raffle competitions, keep fit classes, art classes and also shopping trip to local stores.
We have a mini-bus to pick up those with mobility problems.
Our club helps older people to meet new friends and have discussions and get involved in activities. We also provide Keep Fit sessions and gentle exercises.
Each year the pensioners enjoy many trips and outings.
We have good relationships with other organisations in the borough and we work together to enhance social opportunities for Pensioners in Islington and Highbury.
