Canonbury Primary School Nursery
Canonbury Primary School Nursery offers free full time sessions to 31/2 to 4 year olds from 9:00am to 3:15pm. The Nursery is open for 3 terms a year - 39 weeks. Classes are taught by teachers, with the help of classroom assistants. They deliver the foundation stage curriculum, following the basic principle of learning through play.
Please note, even if your child goes to the school's nursery class, do not assume you will get a place in the primary school. You must apply through school admissions www.islington.gov.uk/admissions (020 7527 5515) to get into the primary school.

Please phone the school. Places in the nursery classes are decided on whether the child is at risk or in need; has special educational needs; lives in Islington; lives close to the nursery; is the right age for the space available; has parents who are working or studying full-time. The nursery does not prioritise children because they have been on the waiting list for a long time or because they have a brother or sister at the centre
