Islington has a range of facilities and services for young people, including 12 adventure playgrounds, youth hubs, and loads of clubs and groups.

We can also help when things get tough and you need a bit of extra support, or need someone to talk to. 

Youth Hubs and Clubs

We have some great youth hubs and clubs for all young people in Islington

Andover Youth Club

Andover Youth Club offers a welcoming atmosphere for young people aged 11 to 14 from the Andover Estate. The club runs from 4.30pm to 7.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. A hot meal is provided and there are a range of different activities each evening.

Lift Youth Hub

Lift has a gym, indoor and outdoor kitchens, a dance studio, music studio, creative spaces and meeting rooms. There are weekly sessions for Afrobeats, archery, music, fitness classes and creative activities. They also run weekly home cooking and baking classes.

'Free Space' enables young people to develop their own creative projects and 'Study Space' can be booked for school and college work with laptops provided.

Lift also provides advice and information for young people, including a sexual health clinic, CV writing workshops and emotional wellbeing counselling.

Rose Bowl

Rose Bowl is a youth centre in St Paul's Park, Canonbury, offering music, art and crafts, cooking, sport, and outdoor play.

SoapBox Islington

At SoapBox Islington you can take part in dance, music production, video production, games design, STEM and podcasting projects and activities and more, as well as access support from youth workers.

Mary's Youth Club

Mary's Youth Club welcomes young people aged between 10 – 19, offering a friendly, open youth club with opportunities to share, grow, learn and enjoy. Young adults aged 19 - 24 can sign up for work experience, volunteering and student placements.

Advice and support for anyone aged 10-21 on things like finding work, training, sexual health, contraception, keeping safe, gangs, and drugs and alcohol.
